Relay Protection and Control Systems Solutions
Secondary protection relays protect power transformers, power transmission lines against overcurrent, short circuit and earth faults. It performs the protection process by giving a trip command to the breaker with the fault current it receives from the medium voltage current transformer.
Relays may be damaged due to operating environments and may not open at the time of failure. Periodic monitoring of transformer and line protection relays is required. Overcurrent relays should be tested with a relay tester once a year. If there is a wrong or missing connection as a result of the test, it should be corrected.
Relay settings are calculated according to transformer and facility power and their suitability is checked.
Protection and control relays are among the most important management equipment in the network. As Ensofix, we provide protection and control services professionally.
